A Compassionate Approach to Community Cats

Siloam Springs TNR and Cat Rescue

Join us in our mission to humanely manage and stabilize the local cat population through our Trap, Neuter, Return program.

Our Journey and Mission

Siloam Springs TNR and Cat Rescue began as a grassroots effort when a local family discovered a group of stray kittens in their backyard. Recognizing the need for a sustainable solution to the growing number of community cats, we partnered with the Wilbers Rescue Foundation. Our mission is to provide low-cost neutering services and promote the humane management of stray cats through the TNR method. By working together with local vets and volunteers, we aim to reduce the number of unfixed cats and find homes for those that are adoptable, creating a healthier environment for both cats and the community.

Understanding the TNR Process

Step 1

Trap: Volunteers humanely capture cats using specialized live traps, ensuring their safety and comfort.

Step 2

Neuter: Each cat is evaluated by a veterinarian, spayed or neutered, and given a rabies vaccination to ensure their health and prevent disease.

Step 3

Return: After recovery, the cats are returned to their original location, where they are familiar with their surroundings and can continue to thrive.
